Salamanca Area

Salamanca, New York is a true gem in the Enchanted Mountains of Cattaraugus County. It offers a historic and cultural atmosphere, along with a more fast paced setting with our casinos and night life.

With a history rooted deep in nature, Salamanca is located directly off of NYS I-86. It is the only city in the United States, East of the Mississippi River, that is located on an Indian Reservation. The Seneca Nation of Indians enriches Salamanca with its culture and heritage. A short or extended visit could include a stop at scenic Allegany State Park, the Seneca Iroquois National Museum, or the Salamanca Rail Museum, or  you can enjoy the other side of our scene at our gaming facilities -- Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel or Seneca Gaming & Entertainment.
